Painting and Interior

Painting and interior are two of my main sources for inspiration.

Believe it or not, a painting could change the whole vibe of a room, and interior overall could change the sense of belonging for the people who have main activities on that place.

I remember one memory when I was a kid, my dad was on the process of building a new house for us, and we visited the architect's house that day, to discuss about few things.

Her house left a deep impression to the little me. It was the first time I knew that a house can feel so welcoming, warm, and open at the same time. It's like when I came into the house, all of the emotional baggage that I had, disappeared. And it's like I was being reminded that everything is gonna be just fine, that I am home.

Only later that I know, certain height on a building, certain shapes, and certain levels of lighting, could actually affect how we perform and feel.

The most logical explanation was about the energy and air flow, but whatever it was, isn't it kinda amazing to know how so many things and situations actually affect us and our lives in many ways that we might never really realized of?

I think it was some of my very early encounters with the art and design world.

Masterpiece

A masterpiece is not only the result of progressing skill sets of the artist/ creator. In my opinion, it is even more to the results of the expanding character and evolving mind of the artist, from time to time. How we grow our wisdom and our understanding towards ourselves and life, matter the most. How we choose to express them, what medium that we prefer, and which skill sets that we will use, will follow later. Art is just one of the few mediums that I chose to explore life, express my thoughts, and to expand myself. To experience life, explore myself, and encapsulated the journey through as many masterpieces as I could, is my main personal goal as an artist. However, being an artist is never my goal. To be a human that understand life, is. And that's how my priority works. Should there be one day for me to leave art behind and work with another medium to explore my path, I wouldn't hesitate even a split second to leave. Gratitude

I know gratitude is important and I, myself, have been experiencing the positive effect of it. Yet, not until yesterday, I really witness the real power of gratitude. So, I joined Inalix's team building event virtually, yesterday. I've been managing and coordinating their digital presence and publication these few months. On that virtual meeting, we listened to the history of Inalix, and we get to know almost every members and listen to their stories. One of the newest colleagues that just joined Inalix is Wahid. He was one of the few who joined the event virtually as well. I could see he was laying down on his bed, and I thought he was sick. Indeed, he was sick, but it wasn't the kind of sickness that I thought. His friend who took him to join Inalix, told us his story. He couldn't move most of his body parts; from toes to recently his jaw, he couldn't really move them. He could move his head and hands, but the rest was numb. So, he couldn't munch food, and cou...

Life Is A Never Ending Game

Bear in mind that not everyone plays the game to have some fun or friends, and that everyone has a different definition of fun. Some people take fun as a fair long game or fair wars, some others take destroying the game and beating others no matter how, as their fun. So..sometimes, when you lose to those destroyer kind of players, just remember that the two of you play two very different games for two very different goals. Also remember that everyone starts with different set of cards. Some players will just have bad cards since the beginning to the end of game. Just like life, some people were born with bad set of cards, and of course they normally couldn't really compete with ones who born with and get all the good cards through life. But cards are cards, you could always play it a bit to elevate some points if you know how to play it.
