Freedom of My Mind

A Room of One's Own is actually one of few books that I would recommend to all women, especially the young mind and the ones who pursue creativity as her path. A true feminist imo, Virginia Woolf speak loud and clear here.

Had women been given some peace and quiet to wander in, there would have been many more great female authors (and artists).

Solitude is a necessity for the loud mind, and freedom of mind is the treasure that no one can ever take away from us.

H ello. You are on my Now page and these are the things that I'm currently focusing on: - Healthy, balanced, and mindful living is my first priority now. - I was hospitalized for a month from August - September 2022. Some viruses attacked a part of my brain and brain stem which causes imbalances on my motoric gravity, plus I had a gout attack for the first time in my life. My infusion had to be sewn on my neck cause the meds need to be inserted through the central vein for three weeks straight. I promised myself to never be that sick ever again, and determined to change my whole lifestyle, including to prioritize myself, my health, and my peace first. Noise

"At first, I thought it was just the noises of opinions in my head that distracted me, thinking that the world has become too noisy with too many sounds and distractions, that it becomes harder to really listen to myself. Turns out I was wrong. There were many noises around me that I didn't realize, engaging continuously with my brain and sensory, resulting a restless mind. I first noticed of how rare silence is, when I installed sound meter on my mobile last year, and started to use it ever since on every place that I visited, just to check the decibel meter around. The acceptable safe sound for average 24hrs exposure is below 70dB, yet we who live in the city, often being exposed to higher than that. For instance; the calmest midnight on my apartment would be around 45 - 52dB. Imagine daytime.
